Manual QA Engineer

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Manual Tester, who will work on manual testing of their web application. Based in Medellin, Colombia, this is a key role within our customer’s QA team, requiring experience with manual testing web applications as part of an Agile development team, regression testing, and test case management. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Requirements

  • Required English Level: Upper intermediate to advanced.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years experience testing web applications within an Agile environment.
  • 2+ years running regression test for web applications.
  • 1+ years experience writing and maintaining test cases.
  • Experience with SQL for data validation.
  • Understanding of REST-based APIs and how to test them.
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members .

Bonus Skills

  • Experience testing Node.js applications.
  • Experience with Selenium.
  • Experience testing Node.js applications.
  • Software development experience with Java, JavaScript and/or Python.
  • Experience with Postman.
